In Confessions of a Murder Suspect, James Patterson begins a thrilling new teen detective series about the mysterious and magnificently wealthy Angel family…and their dark secrets.
Tandy Angel knows more about parental pressure than most teenagers. Malcolm and Maud Angel demanded much from their children—that is before they were murdered. As the last person to see them alive, Tandy realizes the police have no suspects besides her and her three younger siblings and she must clear their names. But how? Knowing she can’t trust anyone—perhaps not even herself—Tandy begins digging into her powerful parents’ affairs only to suffer another worry: what if the adult Angels had far more in common with sinners than with saints?

Very enjoyable since I've tried to read private games three times and can't get into it. That doesn't happen to me with Patterson books. This was a bit different and kept me wondering.

I JUST REALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK! I'VE READ ALL OF JAMES PATTERSON'S BOOKS THAT WERE WRITTEN WITH MAXINE PAETRO. IT WAS LIKE LISTENING TO A STRANGER TELL AN INTRIGUING STORY OF THEIR UNUSUAL LIFE. HOPEFULLY THERE WILL BE SEQUELS!

Story line was okay - interesting, keeps you guessing. I didn't find the writing as flowing - it seemed as though the author wanted to "sound" like a teen but I found it hard to get accustomed to. Probably won't read any sequels to this story.
