Wicked Good Barbecue

Pitmasters Andy Husbands and Chris Hart have racked up hundreds of barbecue-related awards, including the ultimate prize for their succulent spare ribs: Grand Prize at the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue. That recipe is here in Wicked Good Barbecue, along with the secrets and recipes that have helped these two Boston boys take home hundreds of blue ribbons and earn the respect and praise of barbecue guru Steven Raichlen, author of the bestselling Barbecue Bible cookbook series. Recipes like the American Royal 1st Place Beef Brisket, Fried Mac 'n Cheese Pops, Wicked Pulled Pork and Seven-Layer Dip of Disbelief are anything but typical; they'll elevate backyard barbecues to delicious new heights. Awful book!
May 29, 2012

I have over 2000 cookbooks in my collection and this is one of the worst cookbooks that I have run across while collecting. I would spend my money otherwise! I am a southern girl too, but there are much better cookbooks out there!

Think Twice!
March 13, 2012

Take it from this southern girl who loves impromtu BBQ's and is always looking for new and creative recipes ~ this book is filled with recipes that take at least a day or two to prepare and a week or more worth of grocery money. The recipes do sound delicious, but they are for professional grillers without a budget. I wish I had waited for the reviews!
