My new favorite cookbook
July 25, 2010

My biggest problem when I got this cookbook was deciding what to cook first. I can't remember a cookbook where I've wanted to try so many recipes out of it. The variety of recipes in this book is amazing. All the recipes I've made so far have turned out great. This cookbook is the perfect solution for when you get home from work and have to make dinner and don't feel like a huge fuss, but still want something delicious!!

Why is there nothing I want to cook from your cookbooks? I checked this out at the library rather excited because it seem like a great idea--help with weeknight cooking for my family. I have been cooking for years for a large family and it seems there are always ways to make it easier, better, faster. I had tried your Secrets for Weeknight Meals and ended up taking it back with the same problem. Just nothing I wanted to cook in it, or if there was, then I already had a recipe for it, usually a better one. This book is heavy on the egg dishes again, as in Secrets, and ingredient combinations for soups, salads and sandwiches that leave me feeling blarg. Sorry, I really wanted to like it.
