This is the best book ever written about cakes! The recipes are divine! The german chocolate cake is the most amazing cake ever! I use a scale and superfine sugar. the results are unbeatable! If you have the cake bible, this book is even better!

There are many, many, cake cookbooks out there on the market, but you would be hard pressed to find one that can top this. This author is thorough, when it comes to technique,ingredients,bakeware,tools,and what you are shooting for, in whatever particular cake you are baking. She covers everything in cake baking,and decorating from A-Z in meticulous, painstaking detail. The formatting of the book makes for "easy to understand and follow" baking.
