Disappointed!

I really thought this book was going to be great. I love all of Paula and her boys; the entire family is just too much. Most of this was not what I would call Good ole' Southern cooking. Wish I had saved my money. I am glad she is happy in her new marriage but don't care to hear about it in her books and especially not on her Paula's Party show. Bring the old Paula back.

I was so excited when I got this book. I love Paula Deen and her boys. Boy, was I disappointed! It is the same stories we have heard over and over. These were not southern recipes like she used to put in her books. She cannot even write a cookbook anymore without talking about sex. I have every cookbook of hers but this was not the Paula Deen I like.

I appreciate Paula involving her family with her cookbooks along with their recipes, which are great. This book is no different than her past books in style and photos. If you are a fan of Paula Deen's, then you'll love this cookbook. Add this one to the slew of Deen cookbooks on your kitchen shelf.
