This book is not a practical everyday cook book. You definately have to be a fan to appreciate the book. Im am a fan and truly enjoyed the book. But not for everyone.

Well I ordered the book but it seems like its popular because its no longer available. I guess I;m going to have to go to the store and buy it.

Enlightening ~ Enjoyable ~ Easy Read

As a fan who has never missed an episode this cookbook was everything I wanted & more! Besides the awesome recipes there are pictures galore and amusing show anecdotes! I am simply flabbergasted by the negative comments here & wholeheartedly recommend this to ANY cook!

I think this cookbook is great. If you want a cloth cover buy it somewhere else. I think this is great for a TOP CHEF LOVER!!! Perfect gift!!!

Good, but not practical

As a fan since Season 1, I could not wait to purchase the Top Chef Cookbook. I rated this book at 3 stars only because I do not think it is practical for the everyday person. What I do like is that it is filled with behind the scenes info and updates you on what the chefs are doing now; I even like that a few of the recipes I was curious about are included. What I do not like is most of the recipes are very technical and consist of products most would not use (i.e. ostrich or geoduck). If you decide to buy, you must try the breakfast recipe on pg 39 (a la Ella from Season 2). It was such a surprise .. very tasty !
