We’ve all been touched by Donna Van Liere’s contemporary classic, The Christmas Shoes. Now she shares her new novel in her Christmas Hope series—a heartfelt tale of ordinary people learning how to live and love more meaningfully.
Chaz is a loner—he’s not happy about it but it’s his choice. His job working security at a department store is the first he has had for a while. Trying to reach out, he makes a friend in the 4-year-old son of a store janitor.
Gloria opens up her home to her disapproving, cantankerous—and suddenly homeless—neighbor Miriam. They find they have more in common than they imagined…and discover the power of love and second chances.
In these stories of ordinary people, we see our power to help each other.

I have enjoyed all the books in this series, but I believe this is the best. The lives of the characters were interwoven to create a story that kept you in it from start to finish. I can't wait to read another book by this author.

I loved this book up until the last chapter-they jump one year ahead without warning. Very detailed in the beginning and middle then summary in one chapter.

Beeing a lover of good Christian fiction - I found this book to be the very best of Van Liere's four Christmas books! I enjoyed it very much. If you want a walk down a story lane that will cheer your heart try this one!

I have read this whole series. I really loved "The Christmas Shoes (I sobed through this book), The Christmas Blessings & The Christmas Hope" I even enjoyed "The Christmas Promise" (except for the choice words). I think, even if a Christian uses the choice words that was used in this book, if she had to us them, the words could have been stated in a much milder content. In this world we can't excape hearing cursing but when I read I certainly DON'T want to read them. (CROSSINGS SHOULD SOMEHOW MAKE US AWARE IF THERE IS ANY LANGUAGE CONCERN)! Now I am wondering if I should buy her other one or not.
