A VERY GOOD CHOICE
January 15, 2009

I bought this book as a Christmas for my grandson. Although he is only 4, he loves to help in the kitchen. I was afraid it would be way over his head but he enjoys learning because it is presented in a way that is easy for him to comprehend. I would love to see this book include an apron and chef's hat with it. I found an apron and chef's hat that completed the package. I can say that it was a huge hit on Christmas morning.

Great Starter Cookbook
January 13, 2009

My daughter is 12 and has just started having an interest in the kitchen. We got this book for her for Christmas and she has already made us dinner twice all on her own. Even my five year old son who has always had an interest to be in the kitchen has asked his sister to help him make something from her book. I highly recommend this book

Great Cookbook for Kids

I bought this cookbook for my daughter who expressed an interest cooking. She now enjoys selecting, shopping for, and preparing a family meal once a week. A great learning tool.

Fantastic for kids!
March 06, 2008

My 11-year old daughter loves this cookbook. She is trying every recipe, many, more than once. And with minimal parental involvement required, she really feels that she's "cooking on her own". Its very kid-friendly and a good "soup-to-nuts" collection of recipes with sugggested adaptions that allow the cook to be creative. Also, great safety tips and hints along the way...We're looking forward to Part 2, or maybe addional installments to the binder?...
