Taste of Home® Potluck!

Joyce Wilson of Omaha, Nebraska, calls her Make-ahead Chicken Bake potluck-perfect, saying it's “so convenient because you can make the casserole the day before and bake it the day of the event.” Julie Small of Claremont, New Hampshire, couldn’t find a cupcake recipe that combined her favorite flavors, so she took it upon herself to invent the ideal Peanut Butter Chocolate Cupcakes. Great ideas from creative home cooks like Joyce and Julie are just one of the reasons why Taste of Home is the world’s most popular cooking publication. Here are 325 more: The bring-a-dish recipes in Taste of Home Potluck! travel well, taste great and yield 10 servings or more so there’s no need to worry about doubling a recipe. Color photos.

Not practical
January 11, 2012

I usually love the TOH books, but this is not one of them. Most of the recipes are not really what a busy, on a budget person would take to a potluck. We have potlucks at work frequently and I don't see these types of dishes. I mean, who would take a crown roast to a potluck ? These are more for large family at home suppers.

This is a great book. Taste of Home has a knack for putting good recipes together in one book. It's a keeper.

GREAT Cookbook!
July 22, 2011

I've had this cookbook less than a month and I've already made five dishes from it! All of the TOH cookbooks are little gems that are worthy of being mined. Please don't be put off by the review re recipes yielding 10 servings are more. The amount of the serving is what counts and those 10 servings are actually 5-6 in the real world. Highly recommended cookbook!
