Dissatisfied

Not a single recipe I would use, specialty ingredients. Not a good choice as a family cookbook. Returned immediately.

There are better books out there
December 19, 2012

This is mediocre to say the least. Another rehash of already known recipes in an attempt to sell a cook book. Don't bother, there are better books out there.

huge disappointment

I can say there is at best 2 recipes I would make, and my kids would not eat any of the "kid friendly" food and they do have pretty good palates.

A Little disappointed
June 05, 2012

I have a few other Giada books which I absolutely love, nice fresh ingredients, tasty and simple.....but sad to say...not a fan of this one...none of the recipes read as anything I would be interested in making. Even "kid approved"? maybe for a chefs child, but don't think my grand-children would eat these recipes..too bad...lucky you though, I never return books, even if I don't care for them...just add to my collection, who knows, one day may try something...maybe the smoky orzo dish

Have to say I loved the book. Recipes are unique and delicious. I'm on track to cook a few more before I'm through.
